ReplyDeleteMy name is Rachel and I am working with the Summer Learning Journey team this year. It is so cool to see that you have posted a blog about the gingerbread man. My son, Aronui, and I always make a gingerbread house together around Christmas time. It is a tradition that was started when I was a girl growing up in Canada and I am continuing it now that I am a mom. We usually bake the walls for the house on one day and then construct the house the next. It can be a little bit tricky to glue the house together in such a way that it sticks and doesn't fall apart but we're getting better every year!
Have you ever made a gingerbread man or a gingerbread house? If not, you may want to try it one day as it is a lot of fun. You also get the chance to decorate a house with lots of delicious lollies (and to eat a few yourself when you are making it)!
